Form of workThe Marketing Data Analytics Group at Physicians Mutual is looking to hire a Senior Marketing BI Developer will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining interactive, intuitive, meaningful Marketing BI and Data Science applications. In this role the individual will be responsible for gathering, interpreting and analyzing business requirements and use cases, writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party software. The individual will leverage in-house "Big Data" and external data through python programming, query tools, data visualization and interactive dashboards, ad hoc reporting, and data modeling tools.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent SQL skills, experience in python and Tableau, good problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Data Science or relevant discipline...... OR.......
equivalent IT related experience. 4+ years' experience in a BI Application role with programming analysis tools. Experienced in Python & SQL.
Fluency with at least one scripting language such as PowerShell. Expert knowledge of data warehousing & data access needed to efficiently troubleshoot issues. Expert knowledge in Tableau or Power BI.
Preferred Master's degree in Data Science or relevant discipline. Experience working with large data sets leveraging Map/Reduce, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Nutch, etc. Insurance industry experience.
