Job Description
Summary of Duties: Responsible for overall quality assurance throughout application development and support lifecycle from design, delivery, and maintenance. Partner with Development and Operations teams for overall code quality and ongoing maintenance and operations. Define quality accountability structure encompassing various teams across the company. Provide leadership, performance feedback, mentoring, and career development planning to QA team members. Partner with App Development leaders and participate in development of project plans by outlining QA tasks, deliverables, deadlines, time estimates, etc., and handle escalation and prioritization issues as needed. Liaise with BTB (Marketing), Legal and Operations and other teams to ensure features and requests are testable and meet intent of request. Architect and maintain automated continuous testing framework that enables high quality deliverables. Develop and maintain Quality Metrics for developer performance, defect detection, management, and resolution. Ensure unit, component, acceptance, integration, load, security, scalability, usability, and platform tests are estimated/budgeted, planned, implemented and executed by appropriate QA and Development teams.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field of study and 10 years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Development or any combination thereof using Software Lifecycle Methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall).

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:
- 5 years of experience with Automated Software Quality Assurance practices including BDD/TDD;
- 5 years of experience in a lead/management role;
- 5 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle processes;
- 3 years of QA managerial experience;
- testing eCommerce, Point of Sale, and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications;
- testing Mobile websites and Native Mobile applications (including iOS, Android, Windows);
- high-availability architectures in large, heavy-traffic environment;
- creating and implementing strategic vision for a team;
- implementation of automated testing processes, tools and services leveraging QA tools such as JUnit, QTP, Selenium, Karma, node.js, grunt.js, Cucumber, or SoapUI;
- testing web applications developed in JavaScript, CSS, and XHTML;
- automated testing of backend applications and APIs developed in Java/C# with SQL, NoSQL, ActiveMQ and caching technologies;
- automating SQA for apps with Web UI on multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome) and operating systems (Linux, Windows, and iOS);
- automating SQA for apps running on various underlying components including Apache web server, and IIS that use SOAP, REST, and custom web services with JSON and/or XML as payloads,
- testing applications on different physical and virtual platforms;
- network topologies and technologies; and
- data management practices including experience with SQL.
Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
