About the Role:
As the manager you will manage DEI team members and serve as a strategic partner to the DEI office to assess opportunities, develop solutions, and deliver programs in support of established DEI strategies to build a culture of inclusion and belonging. You will work closely with the DEI stakeholders at the Bank, and as the diversity and inclusion manager, you will ensure that DEI priorities are successfully assessed, implemented, embedded, and aligned with businesses objectives. Operate as collaborative partner that builds and leverages cross-functional relationships to bring information, ideas, and industry DEI analysis to develop best practices with key stakeholders (People and Culture, ERGs, DEI Council, Community partners, Business leaders). The diversity and inclusion manager will bring expertise in DEI cultural embedment, ERG consulting, DEI learning program embedment, integration of DEI and community programs, and experience operating under a matrix organization environment. The DEI manager will closely collaborate with all functional areas of People and Culture to effectively influence programs and processes to improve our culture of inclusion and belonging in alignment with existing DEI Bank Priorities.
You Will:
Provide leadership and direction within the DEI team. Also coordinate the work of other DEI team members and works autonomously within established procedures and practices. Partners with DEI officer to develop, implement and monitor DEI strategic priorities.
Provide ERG Consulting guidance to DEI team members and manage the development of ERG leadership teams.
Support the integration of DEI strategic priorities with the Bank’s DEI stakeholders.
Establish, execute, and monitor DEI program execution with an understanding of how each DEI team member impacts successful DEI implementation.
Serve as leader for the team, may allocate work; provides subject matter guidance to more junior team members and manages their career development opportunities (People and Culture, ERGs, DEI Council, Community partners, Business leaders).
Develop and manage agendas for driving DEI topics within the DEI team and across the Bank (DEI team huddles, DEI/ TA, DEI/HRBP, DEI/ERG Chair & Vice-Chair…)
Manage the development and deployment of employee engagement surveys.
Oversee the EEO and OMWI reporting processes.
Gather and analyze data to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent.
Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related; suggests improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
Evaluate and communicates technical content in a clear manner.
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or related field required.
5+ years’ experience in DEI efforts including 2 years’ experience leading initiatives such as ERG program management/ DEI L&D efforts/ OD efforts or relevant HR experience required.
2+ years of experience leading teams
Certification in Diversity and inclusion preferred.
Strong writing and editing ability.
Project management skills are a plus.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
