Description: The pay range is $111,200.00 - $200,200.00

Participate in IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. Communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant efforts to appropriate levels of staff/resources. Represent area in planning, development, implementation, and problem resolution within Technology Services. Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of your area. Contribute to and execute the technology vision for a domain and work with business partners to propose enhancements to support EDC. Participate in gathering needs and the business case through direct interaction with leaders. Communicate with IT leadership, global partners, business leadership and consultants to communicate project or technical platform/services, direction, and changes. Ensure overall alignment to the IT strategy. Provide input to roadmaps and plans. Lead implementation according to strategies and plans for projects/platforms. Provide support on setting future technology solutions for client teams. Participate in annual planning process for technology and business activities. Coordinate all aspects of financial management at the project level and forecast staffing needs. Lead and develop team members, including career development activities and performance management as required. Stay current with industry knowledge and trends (both domestic and global trends). Maintain an awareness of technological trends and use this knowledge to bring solutions to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge. As a Sr. Manager in Data Center Facilities, you can expect to:
  • Be responsible for oversight of the overall operation, maintenance, and modification of all critical environment building systems including: mechanical (including HVAC, computer room air conditioners, chillers, and plumbing) electrical (including UPS, DC battery systems, PDU, generators, transfer switches, and switchgear), cabling (including data and voice, broad band), fire detection and suppression, life safety, lighting, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV). Also has strong skills and experience in raised floor critical operating environments and associated procedures and best practices.
  • Perform property management functions including development of facility R&M budgets, contract oversight and management (e.g., critical vendors and service providers, janitorial, landscaping), client interface and satisfaction, and overall facility performance.
  • Identify safety hazards within the building and incorporate the remediation of such hazards to ensure that the building's staff and occupants work in a safe environment. Implement, administer, and manage the safety training program.

About you:
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience
  • Operational management experience with RCDD designing and implementing low voltage infrastructure in enterprise and edge Data Centers, working knowledge of Tier III Data Center standards and Industry best practices around Data Centers.
  • Experience working with senior leadership in critical outage situations.
  • Initial contact for outage and break fix situations of computer equipment, strong knowledge of network and server hardware connectivity.
  • Understands basic retail functions and the specific organizational functions of the area supported.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
  • Deep understanding of agile development processes and methodology including continuous integration and delivery, with a mindset of building incrementally and delivering business value quickly.
