What we're looking for in a Sr. Manager Content Strategy:
As the Sr. Manager Content Strategyfor the enterprise marketing team at Wilson Electronics, you will ensure that we have the best possible content for all of our media channels. You will play a critical role in shaping our brand's narrative and digital presence, and lead the development and execution of our Content Strategy across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with our business goals and brand values.
This role will report to the Head of Enterprise Marketing, and you be a strategic collaborator and leader in operationalizing ideas into tangible outcomes. You will work with a variety of internal partners and external contractors responsible for content development, and work closely with our creative team to ensure efficacy, timeliness, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive Content Strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short and long-term.
- Editorial Calendar Management: Orchestrate content needs across program channels for maximum reuse and value the content lifecycle, from planning and creation to distribution and analysis.
- Leadership: Collaborate closely with the writers and designers on the creative team to ensure a systematic content creation and review process.
- Content Analysis and Optimization: Use data analytics to measure content effectiveness and make recommendations for content optimization and future strategy.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology to keep our Content Strategy ahead of the curve. You will need to be an AI optimist to be successful in this role (not afraid but eager to leverage).
- Brand Storytelling: Work closely with the creative team to craft compelling narratives that resonate with our audience and reinforce our brand identity.

This position is based in our Cottonwood Heights, UT corporate office. You will enjoy a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days from home per week.
This position has a competitive salary between $85,000 and $125,000 a year depending on experience plus a profit-sharing bonus every 6 months. You will enjoy a total rewards benefits and compensation package including a generous 3 weeks of paid time off available on day one, 2 weeks of paid holidays, matching 401k, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, employer-paid disability and life insurance, and telemedicine.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be located in the greater Salt Lake City metro area or willing to relocate. 100% remote work is not available for this position.
- Have 7+ years of experience in content marketing or a related field with some background in Content Strategy (in addition to writing).
- Demonstrate strong understanding of SEO, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement.
- Exhibit a curiosity to learn about high-tech solutions and products.
- Possess some familiarity with marketing and content management tools.
- Have exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Possess excellent organizational skills with analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Have previous leadership experience managing other writers.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, and an advanced degree is preferred.
