Sr Logistician

SSI needs to add a Sr Logistician to support our current list of services provided for the U.S. Navy.

Primary Functions:

• provide logistic services to the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Program. Some of the systems and programs supported are United States Navy (USN) (Aegis, Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), Large Unmanned Surface Vessel (LUSV), CEC FMS platforms, Surface Combatants, Naval Air (NAVAIR)), USMC, all CEC system variants, Composite Track Network (CTN), Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

If this aligns with your experience and sounds like it is the career path you wish to progress, these are the requirements to be considered for this position:

• At least two years of experience related to the logistics support of electronic or engineering systems or combat systems configuration management or combat systems modernization is required.
• Experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Configuration Management (CM) and/or technical manuals.

Education/Experience/Skills:

• At minimum, a high school diploma is required for this labor category.

Must possess a valid California driverâ??s license. U.S. Citizenship and must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance required for hire, and to be maintained throughout employment. All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.

CONTINGENT OFFER

• This position is contingent upon contract award and is anticipated to start in January of 2023.
