Job Description
The Loan Documentation Specialist will be responsible for the preparation of commercial and consumer loan documents for our Lenders. Has knowledge of loan processing and loan closing requirements, disclosures, and how to maintain compliance. Will work with a high energy, fast paced team centered on making “It easy to do business with Central Bank of Kansas City.” Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- · Preparation of documentation process according to approval terms and in accordance with Bank policies and proceeds for both new and renewing loans
- · Works with loan request to ensure all are processed according to service level agreement.
- · Assists with creating, updating and maintaining written procedures.
- · Preparing/updating loan and financial files associated with new/renewed loans.
- · Complete loan checklist
· Prepare loan Documentation package prior to closing including:
- Title commitment
- Flood Determinations
- Insurance
- Organizational documents
- Collateral documents
- Send loan documents for e-signature if required.
- Facilitate loan funding (wire, deposit, check) and ensure fees are paid
- Prepare loan for booking.
- Confirm loan documents have been fully executed at closing.
- Perfection/filing of Collateral documents (UCC, Deeds of Trust, Assignment of Rents, etc.)
- Scan executed loan documents to Core imaging system.
- Update Core system for Technical Exceptions on new loans
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with Loan Operations and Commercial Banking Specialist
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Education – Bachelor’s degree; or three years of experience
- Experience – 5 years prior LaserPro experience, management experience a plus
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of LaserPro Administration
- Knowledge of basic lending requirements
