We are currently seeking an Sr.IT Governance Analystto join our team in Arlington, Virginia
What you’ll do:
The Sr. IT Governance Analyst will provide programmatic support to a U.S. Air Force program office.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, track, and host high-visibility governance meetings impacting billions of dollars in Air Force IT programs
- Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain and distribute an attendance roster
- Record, develop, distribute, and archive meeting minutes for each instantiation of governance
- Assist in developing, refining, and publishing official policy and guidance
- Verify that responses are developed in proper format and contain useful data for the desired target audience
- Present recommendations in proper government format for Branch Head review by established deadlines
- Understand client’s organization and industry business issues, gaps, related challenges, and ability to address the client’s needs and expectations
- Prepare accurate, complete, and high-quality deliverables and understand document retention requirements
- Support the adjudication of taskers through the Task Management Tool
- Perform analysis of key business processes and policy to identify risks and innovate to improve operational efficiency
- Actively participate in client meetings and day-to-day interactions and prepare presentations and briefings
Qualifications:
- At least three years of professional experience supporting audit response, audit remediation, internal controls, financial processes, and/or accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS), and/or relevant OMB policies for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees
- Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited in the United States
- Eligibility to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
