The Sr Human Resources Generalist (HRG) will have responsibility for partnering with field managers and employees across all levels of the organization in order to drive the department and business objectives. This position is responsible for providing HR support and partnering with all dealerships/sites within an assigned geographical area WI/UP. This role is expected to spend approximately 25% of the time traveling locally and/or overnight. Along with guidance of the HR Manager, the SrHRG provides consultation to managers and employees in the areas of Employee Relations, Change Management, Corporate Initiatives, Conflict Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, etc
Pay: $55,000 - $65,000
Work Location: In office (Office locations in WI, IL)
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Onboarding, equipping and welcoming all new employees to our organization.
- Coordination with branch representatives to ensure employees are equipped and welcomed on day one of their employment.
- Ensuring all required new hire paperwork (I-9s, W-2s, DOT, etc) is completed fully and accurately within 3 business days of the employee's first day.
- Ensure that JX and its employees are in compliance with all internal policies and procedures as well as external laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up to date employee information HRIS system.
- Arrange DOT Physical renewals
- Assist HR Manager in properly handling any legal matters (unemployment, EEO, etc).
- Process Termination information and notifying affected departments.
- Ensure that our employees are fairly compensated through salary surveys, benchmarking, annual increases, and daily compensation administration.
- Coach employees and managers on employment related topics.
- Answering calls and directing employees to the appropriate area within HR (benefits, payroll, development, etc.)
- Provide guidance and interpretation of HR forms, procedures, and policies to associates and managers
- Other Duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrollment in or completion of a formal four year education is required.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
- High-performers have the ability to show evidence of being highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency in their past roles.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP designation
- Proficient using Google Applications
- Project management experience
- Experience with the strategic business partnering
