Sr HSE Representative - Environmental

The Giddings Texas based Sr HSE Representative - Environmental provides field-level support to the company’s Giddings production team to deliver environmentally sound operations that are compliant with Magnolia, federal, state, and local environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and advise production teams in Magnolia’s efforts to improve environmental performance.
• Integrate environmental practices and performance standards into daily operations.
• Communicate and support conformance with federal, state, local regulations, and company environmental work practices.
• Develop and implement programs designed to promote improved environmental performance, emergency response planning, audits, and assessments.
• Support production team in environmental regulatory (air, water & waste) program compliance.
• Conduct internal and external reporting and recordkeeping per applicable requirements:
• Lead gathering of GHG data to support annual reporting.
• Ensure that OOOOa annual reporting is conducted.
• Lead Tier II reporting.
• Support air permitting activities.
• Support development of SPCC plans and annual inspections.
• Assure that waste handling is compliant with applicable regulations.
• Ensure that environmental events are reported to applicable agencies.
• Participate in/lead investigations, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for environmental events.
• Coordinate and deliver monthly HSE meetings and training program.
• Conduct/participate in and lead environmental discussions at tailgate and team meetings.
• Lead/present/facilitate key environmental topics at industry and contractor engagement forums, meetings, and roundtables.
• Crosstrain with and provide back-up to the other Giddings HSE Representative.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, natural sciences, or related degree.
• 5+ years of Environmental experience with primary support to Upstream Oil and Gas field production operations.
• Experience with Texas RRC and TCEQ regulations, preferred.
• Proficiency in use the MS Office Suite of applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Job Location: Giddings, TX with travel across Magnolia’s area of operations.
