A Brief Overview
The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for the design and the development of complex reporting solutions across Stanford HealthCare, Stanford HealthCare at Tri-Valley, and Stanford Medicine Partners (SMP). This individual will work with team members, users, and others to triage requests, define requirements, design, develop and deploy high-quality reporting solutions that meet current and future foreseeable user needs utilizing SHC's tools.

What you will do
Understand report requirements and build reports that functions as desired
Independently performs analysis, development, and testing of complex reporting solutions
Build strong working relationships with users and team members, including Directors and above. Gains trust and respect of key users
Manage multiple independent complex activities. Manage tasks, dependencies, and user/team expectations regarding scope and timeline of solution delivery
Participates in, and effectively contributes to, project working groups with team members, users, analysts, clinicians, and SHC leadership
Utilizes depth of reporting and tool specific expertise to recommend leading edge solutions to users that meet their expressed and unexpressed future needs
Designs and develops complex reporting solutions that enable user functionality with minimal on-going maintenance and post-production incidents
Provides expertise in understanding and using SHC data models and systems and acts as resource in the interpretation and use of data generated and utilized by users
Troubleshoots incidents surrounding supported solutions
Tune performance of complex solutions (both queries and database structures)
Organizes and conducts regular project status sessions and design reviews leveraging appropriate project artifacts. Consistently contributes valuable input during design reviews of team member solutions
Assists the Reporting Analyst with any reporting/project issues
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
Experience Qualifications
4+ years of recent Workday Certified experience with a demonstrated deep knowledge of Workday reporting tools
Workday Reporting Platform Certification, including Composite or Advanced Reporting
Certification and/or experience delivering Prism and/or Reporting projects
Experience in an analyst role in HCM/payroll, with emphasis on building reports and performing data analysisExperienced in working with users and management in gathering requirements and translating them into effective reporting deliverables
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of Workday HCM and payroll data sources, business processes, objects and fields
Advanced Workday report writing experience, both in modifying delivered and creating custom reports, including composite reports, matrix reports, dashboards, etc
Understanding of many Workday modules and data architecture, Workday business object model
Ability to implement data visualization solutions across a variety of Workday modules
Expertise leveraging calculated fields
Strong MS Excel skills
Strong written/verbal communication
Proven ability to validate and perform data analysis on report as well as explain report findings to users when needed
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative manner with other HRIS team members
Knowledge of Oracle/Access database and SQL is a strong plus

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $49.66 - $65.80 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
