Responsibilities and Qualifications
Bonobos is seeking a Sr. Graphic Designer who will be responsible for leading and managing the development and execution of print and digital design, editing and visual storytelling across all customer touchpoints. As leader of the graphic design team, they will serve as manager and mentor to the graphic design team and represent them cross-functionally by presenting to partners and leaders across the organization including the Executive Leadership Team. This highly visible role is responsible for managing a high-volume of creative workflow-leading and managing development of content that inspires and captivates the customer and our community, translating our creative & brand into multi-channel marketing collateral. This role will help define the brand's digital design look and feel-from seasonal campaigns to product launches-by managing execution of omni-channel content and partnership with the copy team to execute effectively with clarity, consistency, and by-channel optimization.
50% Graphic Design Team Leadership and Management
  • With support and partnership of the Creative Director & Lead Graphic Designer, provide digital design direction to translate seasonal concepts into creative that articulates the brand positioning and delivers on business needs.
  • Collaborate with necessary cross-functional partners to develop a distinct form of design work focused on brand strategy, key product priorities and purchase drivers, impactful design and amplification of our brand ethos.
  • Be able to manage execution of compelling content across marketing channels: stores, print, site, app, paid media, email and social media.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in culture, design, advertising, fashion, social media, digital, entertainment, etc. and apply in ways that keep the brand relevant.
  • Manage execution of campaigns and big-picture ideas while also contributing to the day-to-day marketing content execution and ensure consistency and clarity of strategy at every stage.
  • Create unique and compelling content that engages existing and potential customers, reflects the consumer mindset and our brand architecture, complements and amplifies campaigns and supports key business and product initiatives.
  • Execute new and innovative ways to incorporate content and commerce.
  • Enable and influence a strong partnership between art, design and copy throughout the creative organization.
  • Manage conceptual and strategic direction for the graphic design team; develop, direct and manage brand look/feel for how Bonobos shows up in print and digital landscapes.
  • Build relationships with key cross-functional partners to understand and collaborate on daily, weekly and seasonal content strategies.
  • Manage development and implementation of a distinct print & digital design presentation that is consistent and effective by channel.

30% Graphic Design:
  • Support a unified print and digital design POV across channels based on brand strategy and product priorities.
  • Partner with the Creative Services Project Manager to build and maintain a central design project calendar as well as editorial/asset roadmaps and communication tools that aid in the translation of product, brand and editorial storytelling across all marketing, media and commerce channels .
  • Work with channel and creative partners to ensure compelling and consistent execution across all marketing channels: print, site, app, paid media, email and social media.
  • Edit deliverables for clarity and messaging priorities to ensure all creative deliverables accurately projects the brand look and feel.
  • Analyze and optimize creative for performance and best practices.

20% Seasonal Concepting:
  • In partnership with the Creative Leadership Team and channel partners, manage development and execution of seasonal campaigns and monthly conceptual design directives across all channels-print, site, app, paid media, email and social media-to ensure compelling and consistent execution.
  • Explore and bring new, disruptive content ideas and storytelling formats to Bonobos.
  • Research trends by frequenting social media, fashion sites, reading current and relevant publications and staying up-to-date with the competitive landscape .
  • Partner with design, marketing, social and UX teams to create vibrant, dynamic design direction .

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Have 5-7 years of graphic design experience in retails and/or e-commerce (or at an agency for an e-commerce client)
  • Are a strong conceptual thinker with a digital and print background
  • Are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, have a keen understanding of graphic/web design principles and current web technologies (html, css)
  • Are a strong communicator and have the ability to prioritize and manage work while adhering to critical timelines
  • Are passionate about branding, storytelling, and producing engaging content and campaigns
  • Are able to own a project from start to finish, working autonomously, but welcoming feedback and collaboration
  • Can back-up your experience with a strong portfolio

Actual compensation offered is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location, education, relevant skills and experience of the candidate.
