The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team's primary responsibility is to analyze, report, and budget/forecast global Firm financials for Senior Management as well as the Business Units. The group also is responsible for several other analytics, including Earnings projections, Return metrics, competitor analyses and detailed expense review. In addition the group acts as a high level control to reconcile profit & loss statements and review with the Business Units.RESPONSIBILITIES:Various Scenario modeling of all Jefferies businesses for senior management (CFO, Chairman, Businesses)Visualization for senior management, including various metrics, returns and performance indicators.Contribute to the management review of the Firmwide Daily P&L, Weekly Executive Committee report, and various ad-hoc requests.Participate in the review of the firm's budget and forecast and integrate with high level senior management analyses.Interact with Front Office COO Teams and various support area heads to review strategic plans and performance benchmarks.Ability to streamline and automate processes using existing technology solutions (Qlik/Essbase).Strong work ethic with ability to work both within and across multiple teams.Ability to manage a team effectively while still willing to take part in the line level work to help the team.Team PlayerQualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS:10 to 12 years of FP&A or relevant experience Strong Analytical and forward thinking problem solvingStrong Excel skills and knowledge of business modelingBusiness Intelligence and Essbase/Hyperion Planning knowledge a plusClear and effective communication style including ability to work with Senior ManagementThe salary range for this role is $130,000-$175,000.At Jefferies, we believe that diversity fosters creativity, innovation and thought leadership through the infusion of new ideas and perspectives.
