Form of work- Assist Sr Manager and FP&A Team in preparing monthly and quarterly business reviews and analysis packages that compare actual results to budget, forecast and prior year.
- Prepare financial reporting and analyses that help us assess business performance trends, understand key drivers and the impact of those drivers.
- Build and/or enhance financial and dashboards to improve focus on and visibility of those key drivers and metrics. Support development of other tools to help manage the business.
- Support Finance Sr Manager and VP in managing the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets and 5-year plans.
- Assist in the preparation of Board of Advisor documents and exhibitsand write business level commentary.
- Provide ad hoc analysis support to Finance Leadership team and others as needed
- Contribute to streamlining efficiency across the department by automating and/or eliminating reporting as the business needs.
- Document standard operating procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with proven ability to overcome incomplete/flawed data and still draw reasoned analytical conclusions (with appropriate qualifications).

- Highly motivated individual who can manage through a multitude of competing priorities at any given time. Must work with a strong sense of urgency and often be able to work towards achieving agreed upon objectives within strict time constraints.

- Effectively and concisely express analysis findings and/or recommendations both in writing and orally across the organization
- Interact with Senior Management and feel comfortable speaking up to express opinions and/or facts.
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required, MBA is preferred.
- Minimum: 5-7 years accounting/finance experience. Experience in the following industries a plus: Services / Insurance / Investment Banking/Consulting.
- Advanced Excel Skills (vLookups, hLookups, sumifs, macros) are required.
- Advanced PowerPoint and writing business level commentary.
- End-user experience with Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Planning (or equivalent), as well as Oracle BI and writing SQL queries, are all big pluses.
- End-user experience with financial reporting & visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI a big plus.
