Job Title: Senior Engineer - Generator Interconnection

As a Senior Engineer on the Generator Interconnection team, you will play a crucial role in connecting power generators to the grid, facilitating the transition to cleaner and more efficient energy sources. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a dynamic team to connect power generators to the grid.
• Work on innovative projects to drive sustainability and efficiency in our energy systems.

Qualifications:
Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• Degree should be from a university meeting the requirements to sit for the Professional Engineering exam.
• Preferred degree programs include Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering.

Experience:

• Senior Engineer: Five (5) years of relevant Engineering experience; Professional Engineer License or graduate degree in a related field may satisfy one year of experience requirement.
• Senior Engineer II: Nine (9) years of relevant Engineering experience; Professional Engineer License or graduate degree in a related field may satisfy one year of experience requirement.

Work Environment:

• Professional office environment.
• Routine use of standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to make decisions, interpret data, and problem solve.
• Stand or sit for extended periods; use hands to operate a computer keyboard and standard office equipment.
• Occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to work and collaborate with managers and employees at all levels.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

• Full-time position.
• Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Working extended hours may be required.

Travel Requirement:

• Minimal travel required (approximately 10%).
