Sr Embedded Hardware Engineer

Hire Support is seeking a Sr Embedded Hardware Engineer. This position is direct hire role and be remote. The candidate will be responsible for the development of product and bringing the product successfully to the market. It also involves sustaining engineering to support legacy products and other life cycle management duties. The employee also assists in delivering its promise by providing technical advice to the other departments and employee.

Requirements-

B.S or M.S in engineering or Computer Science.

10+ years of design experience.

Must have a decent to strong command of key engineering areas (Firmware, Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Industrial).

Have successfully brought several products to market Successfully, developed embedded products. Worked in multiple product development environments and have held lead product development positions.

Have worked with, mentored, and developed junior engineers.

Developed and maintained very complex systems (not just boards).

Have developed products with very diverse team that involved other non-engineering team members.

Was involved in new product specifications and ideation phases. Worked with customers to improve product features.

Have direct experience with trouble shooting very difficult failures with multiple root causes. Have an in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Specific skills required:

FreeRTOS, Linux, C/C++, real-time OS concepts, various protocols (QSPI, ModBus, IP, CAN, BacNET, MQTT). ST tool chain, Git, JIRA.
