WHAT WE DO: Meduit is seeking a Sr EBO Account representative at our Charlotte office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking experience in medical billing and complex claims investigation as well as leadership roles. Ideal candidates will possess claims processing/medical billing experience and a competitive desire to maximize returns. Although we highly value experience, it is not required since we will train qualified individuals for the role. Our Sr EBO Account Representatives assist with coaching, motivating, and training as well as daily production. The focus areas for a Senior EBO Account Representative are quality and production.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assisting with providing feedback on how to provide quality calls.
Motivating team members to hit hourly, daily, and monthly production expectations.
Responsible for meeting production expectations set for Sr. Reps.
Following established procedures to resolve patient account balances:
Identifying consumer payment plans
Utilizing call scripts provided
Setting up consumer payments over the phone
Documenting all conversations electronically on company and/or client systems
Assisting patients in determining eligibility for financial assistance programs and/or bank loans when applicable
Providing information to Client Services as needed
Understanding and fully complying with all federal and state laws and regulations (HIPPA, Medicare Fraud, Waste and Abuse, etc.) regarding collections policies and procedures
Assistance with handling of supervisor calls
Act as the backup point of referral to the Supervisors for any escalated accounts unable to be handled by the Agents.
Enforce and uphold Company policies
Assisting with day-to-day questions from agents.
Support Supervisor as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
H.S. Diploma/GED
Must be willing to submit for a background check
Characterize a high integrity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Have a positive attitude and demonstrate teamwork
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Time management and sound decision-making skills
Proficient in PC based applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Able to provide excellent customer service in a variety of situations, including those that escalate
Able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
Able to use strong attention to detail and data management skills
Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance and FDCPA is a plus

Full-time (8-hour shift)
Monday - Friday
PAY: $18 per hour
