ADP is hiring a Sr. Director, Strategic Carrier Relations

In this role as the Sr. Director, Strategic Carrier Relations, you will be responsible for developing and executing against ADP Major Account's Benefit Carrier Integration partnership strategy while also ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of API and EDI Implementation and Service to Workforce Now Benefits clients with Carrier integrations.

 

You will make your mark by successfully driving strategic and transformational partnerships with benefit carriers and brokers focused on API integration with ADP Workforce Now. Your industry expertise and customer focus will be instrumental to drive acquisition of new carrier partnerships and retention of existing partnerships.

What you’ll do: RESPONSIBILITIES

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Drive Strategic Relationships. You will leverage your industry expertise to build and retain strategic relationships with benefits carriers and support the successful onboarding and integration.  You will evaluate, implement, and communicate strategies to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and deliver seamless integration with the highest quality. 
  • Improve the Client Experience.  You will proactively identify opportunities to enhance and improve the benefit carrier integration process.  You will lead with a solution-oriented and innovative approach to incorporate new methodologies and/or processes through the lens of increasing productivity, efficiency and quality. 

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • 5+ years of directly related experience in a client service or implementation environment or management in Payroll/HR/Benefits
  • Ability to conduct strategic partnership/contract negotiations
  • Superior business & financial acumen, communication and business judgment
  • Highly collaborative and partnering mindset with multiple internal cross-functional teams
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners such as Global Product & Technology and Service & Implementation Hubs
  • Comfortable working closely with Senior Level Executives across the organization.
  • Ability to be a champion for Benefits integration, enrollment, plan benefit design, eligibility management and insurance policy administration 

A college degree is required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include:

  • In-depth knowledge of ADP products, services and programs
  • Proven Benefits Carrier experience and knowledge of APIs, digital experience, enrollment platforms and decision support.
  • Deep understanding of insurance carrier plan design for group and worksite products, implementation of group new business and amendment processes, open enrollment and employee benefit communication strategies, group billing, eligibility, underwriting and claims processing.
  • Proven track record of executive level tracks in business development, partnership design and consulting
  • Financial and data analysis of insurance participation rates, premiums and more
  • Knowledge of API integration and ability to contribute to industry-thought leadership that advances benefit enrollment technology

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Business development experience highly preferred
  • Having a strong network within the insurance industry
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to flex based on audience and other requirements
  • Ability to work effectively under changing conditions.
  • Leverages data to make strategic business decisions
  • Prior service center and/or implementation center management is preferred
