Job Overview:
- Works with other HR Business Partners in a collaborative shared services corporate model
- Provide Business Partner services to assigned groups.
- Supervises HR Shared Services functions to supports Business Teams and plays a leadership role in developing and implementing HR processes and structures.
- Coordinates with the VP-HR on strategy pertaining to employee engagement and retention
- Identifies gaps and creates and conducts quarterly training webinars for managers on employment law, EEOC, employee performance improvement, coaching
- Interprets, creates, revises and implements company policies
- Advises managers on HR policy practices and interpretations
- Participates in developing department goals and objectives. Work to ensure employees have or are trained with competencies and skills to perform required work.
- Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiently of the department and services performed
- Maintains company compliance in a multi-state environment with labor laws including wage and hour, EEO, unemployment compensation, and other applicable local, state and federal laws
- Consults with managerson employee relation matters
- Work with employees to improve performance for work assigned.
- Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
- Represents organization at related hearings and investigations
- Metrics reporting (turnover, retention)
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years working in Human Resources
- 3+ years working with HRIS software
- 3+ years with direct reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or Related Field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ADP Workforce Now
- SHRM CP or SHRM SCP
