Position Summary

The Senior Director, Food Safety, Regulatory & Auditing Lead will support the WK Kellogg Co. in all matters related to Regulatory, Food Safety efforts. We are seeking a passionate leader who is excited about embarking on a journey with a growing organization. This person will have responsibility of Audit for the organization managing both an internal and external auditor focused on audits for our internal and external manufacturers. This person will also be the critical point of contact when it relates to engaging with our external regulatory agencies.

This person sits on the WK Kellogg Co. Quality leadership team as well as leads the Incident Management Team.

 

Direct Reports:

  • Food Safety Scientist – Micro subject matter expert, standards setting, and capability building.
  • Sr. Lead Auditor – QFS auditing of internal manufacturing facilities, Contract Manufacturers, Co-packers, and Suppliers.
  • Data Analyst – QFS Data trending and reporting.
  • Premiums, Licensing & Customer Quality – Premium Food Safety, oversight of Licensing food safe execution.

 Education & Work Experience:

Food Manufacturing Experience

  • Regulatory and Food Safety Expert
  • Lead, grow and develop an organization.
  • Effectively communicate and interact with Regulatory.
  • Ability toLead multifunctional teams to achieve targeted successful execution of expectations.
  • Able to communicate & educate technical information to non-technical audience.
  • Able to present difficult messaging to Sr. Leadership
  • Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, with external suppliers, and with regulatory inquiries.
  • Able to train & educate large groups as well as designated trainers.
  • Able to lead Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science preferred; 8-10 years relevant experience required. 

 

 

Compensation Insights:

Salary Range: $220,000.00-$225,000.00

Annual Bonus Percentage Target: 20%
