Job Description

The Enterprise Product Consumer Data team is responsible for collection, standardization, and management of consumer account data across NBCUniversal to enable for activation, monetization, and engagement in secure, privacy-centric ways.    
We are seeking a strategic leader to join our team as the Senior Director of Product for Consumer Identity and Access Management. As the Consumer Identity landscape continues to evolve, we are looking for an experienced product leader who can chart a course for innovation, guide our product strategy, and drive the adoption of our CIAM solution across the NBCUniversal organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a strategic leader on our Enterprise Product Consumer Data team, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Define Product Vision and Strategy for CIAM: Develop a clear and forward-thinking product vision and strategy for Consumer Identity and Access Management to meet the evolving needs of NBCUniversal.
  • Effective Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders to facilitate the onboarding of various NBCUniversal brands, ensuring a smooth transition to our CIAM solution.
  • Leadership and Problem Solving: Serve as the go-to escalation point for product managers, removing roadblocks, and addressing dependencies with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Promote a Growth Culture: Foster a culture of growth and innovation within the team, emphasizing the delivery of a premium user experience while achieving key performance results.
  • Regulatory and Privacy Expertise: Stay informed about major regulatory and privacy shifts related to consumer data to ensure compliance and responsible data handling.
  • Strategic Vendor Partnerships: Collaborate with key vendors to influence roadmaps that align with the needs of NBCUniversal's CIAM initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Extensive Product Management Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management and/or product development.
  • Strong Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and nurture strategic partnerships with various stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and industry organizations.
  • Innovative Mindset: Demonstrated experience in taking multiple new product features from ideation to successful delivery.
  • Authentication and Security Expertise: Domain knowledge of authentication and single sign-on protocols, including OAuth, SAML, Open ID, and MFA. Familiarity with information security concepts and compliance is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: A solid technical background with a general understanding of basic programming concepts.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive informed product decisions, including the analysis of user behavior, market trends, and competitive insights.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with common software development methodologies such as Agile and Kanban. Proficiency in tools like JIRA and Confluence is advantageous.
  • Privacy Awareness: Understanding of existing and upcoming privacy policies such as CCPA, GDPR, Apple ATT, and the ability to navigate their implications.
  • Mentorship Experience: A demonstrated history of mentoring and developing product management talent within their team or organization. The ability to guide, coach, and empower team members, fostering their growth and professional development.
  • A passion for media and entertainment is a plus.

Remote Workers: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee's residence.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $190,000-$220,000 (bonus eligible)
