Job Description:
  • Lead the Marketing Communication and Insights team with multiple direct reports and provide leadership for all Brand Marketing communication strategy and tactics.
  • Architect of brand identity, positioning, and development for industry-leading product line and new products.
  • Lead optimization of the marketing communications mix to solve specific brand health and sales objectives.
  • Key interface with Sales, Brand and Product teams, R&D, Innovation, Technical Services, Manufacturing, IT, Finance, and the Leadership Team.
  • Lead the development of the North American portfolio brand communications strategy and tactics and steward its execution and the analysis of results.
  • Serve as a champion for the end user, leveraging quantitative and qualitative data that provides analysis and insights into ways that guide end-to-end web experiences and enhancements that drive conversion and loyalty to brands.
  • Supervise the creation of promotional strategies, based on strong understanding of end-user value, brand positioning, economics, and competitive actions, and execute across all channels Lead bridge building efforts between outbound and inbound communications to streamline advertising, content, experiential and CRM programs to produce measurable, end-to-end communications plans.
  • Guide e-commerce promotional growth strategies for specific product lines.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage, motivate, teach and develop a best-in-class team of Managers, Media Buyers, Producers and Coordinators on the team.
  • Deliver brand health metrics.
  • Deliver strong return on marketing correlating with annual volume and profit goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop product launches, product growth opportunities and associated marketing support.
  • Develop programs that create growth supported by fact-based business cases in partnership with all functions.
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors to achieve success metrics.
  • Partner with the other leaders across the company and externally to develop our forward-looking brand and communications strategy including adjustments to team structure and roles.
  • Drive education, awareness and trial for both internal and external constituents
  • Supervise brand communication and messaging strategy to sustain competitive point-of-difference Partner in voice-of-customer activities as they relate to brand development, buying behavior, brand preference, and key drivers of awareness, trial, repeat purchase and loyalty.
  • Significant experience engaging and managing internal efforts and external agencies supporting advertising, creative development, content marketing, PR, experiential marketing, web development, merchandise fulfillment, e-commerce, CRM and marketing automation Experience building out high performing teams with track records of success.
  • Experience in developing and driving cross-functional alignment around product positioning, brand strategy, executive thought leadership content or blog/social editorial content, and marketing measures of success.
  • Demonstrate creativity and thought leadership through vision and a desire to create transformative work with a keen eye for detail.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the customer journey and enhance the experience wherever possible through automated touches via appropriate channels to maximize revenue and profit and strengthen brand equity.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the customer buying journey and enhance the experience wherever possible by leveraging collaborative strategies across internal and external resources utilizing traditional trade media and channels (paid/earned/owned content), regional/national/custom experiential tactics and education, social, web, CRM and other marketing cloud automation enhancements
  • Develop best in class sales tools and sales enablement programs to drive sales that benefit the sales team while upholding brand strategy.
  • Recommend and steward 5 year and annual Brand Communication Strategy and Tactics
  • Recommend and prioritize all activities related to advertising, digital marketing, live and virtual events, and all product promotions based on brand and portfolio strategies.
  • Lead Brand Marketing Communication Team and recommend/manage annual Budget.

Skills / Experience:
  • The knowledge/skills required to perform the job's basic responsibilities. Include education, experience and any licenses required.)
  • Minimum 6 - 8 years of brand, communications, and digital marketing experience Demonstrable qualitative and quantitative aptitude
  • Solid understanding of marketing including product management, product development, market research. P&L experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record as leader with solid business acumen, problem solving skills, and organizational savvy.
  • Ability to communicate, written and oral, with all functional departments clearly, concisely and effectively.
  • Strong planning and analysis skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Passion for and willingness to dig into the technical details.
  • Domestic travel required (>20%)

Salary: 180-200K + bonus
