Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Senior Director, Product Management to join our team. You will have the opportunity to be a Product Owner while working with a stellar team!
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and expected to be on-site 2x a week.
Responsibilities:

  • Partner with colleagues in Product Management to support the development of next generation post trade processing solutions supporting capital markets and wealth management clients, meet established goals for the Data Services to be offered under the remit of the Global Post Trade Management (GPTM) product by building and executing the product roadmap.
  • Function as a Product Owner and support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for GPTM Data Services including: Data Ingestion, Data Transformation, Data Storage and Retrieval
  • Gather market research, participate in product ideation and new business cases, gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, participate in establishing go-to-market strategies, manage new product roll-out and partner with sales/ professional services in client visits.
  • Leverage knowledge of core post trade processing functions including Trade Capture, Trade Management, Clearing & Settlement, Position Management, P&L Calculations, Subledger Accounting, Exception Management and Reconciliations to implement next generation data services
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand key customer problems and document requirements with acceptance criteria to engage development and project management teams.
  • Ideate, implement and support best in class product features for data services including model driven architecture for data management, rules-based data transformation, smarter data storage and real-time access to data
  • Collaborate with data modelers in implementing a harmonized post trade data model to support all asset classes and global post trade use cases
  • Utilize Agile software development methodologies to execute change and deliver product features
    • Conduct/ Participate in all agile ceremonies including program increment planning, sprint planning meetings, product demos, retrospective meetings
    • Actively maintain product backlog, refine backlog, prepare a pipeline of sprint ready stories and manage prioritization
    • Assist with internal and external communication and create transparency around delivery risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate as needed
    • Document and communicate business benefits of each product feature

Qualifications:
  • 10 years' experience in business analysis and/or product management and/or client implementations in financial services domain
  • Solid knowledge of post trade processing for equities and fixed income including working experience as a Business Analyst/ Developer/ Implementation Analyst with at least one core back-office processing engine - Impact ICI/ BPS / Gloss/ Shadow
  • Demonstrable experience in eliciting and articulating business requirements as Epics, Features and User Stories in a industry standard requirements capture tool such as JIRA
  • Demonstrable experience in writing test acceptance criteria for User Stories
  • Demonstrable experience in executing and delivering product features using agile methodologies
  • Advanced knowledge of writing SQL queries for data analysis
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret data in XML and JSON formats
  • Advanced ability to visually articulate business concepts, system flows and data models using diagrams in Visio
  • Intermediate ability to analyze large datasets using Excel
  • Basic ability to read application code written in Java/ Stored Procedures to interpret system functionality
  • Advanced ability to communicate product ideas and solutions to clients using elegant and concise power point presentations
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology
