Sr. Denim Planning and Buying Manager

Now hiring a Sr. Buying and Planning Manager for denim. This role is designed for a dynamic individual who can innovate in merchandising strategies while effectively managing the complexities of multi-channel retail in women's denim. Will develop and implement innovative strategies for womens denim, catering to mid-tier department stores. Introduce and manage 100 new denim styles, ensuring alignment with market trends, quality, and profitability. Conduct market research and analyze sales data for trend identification and strategic decision-making. Collaborate with marketing, inventory, and supply chain teams to optimize the denim category. Oversee product selection, vendor negotiations, and stock replenishment processes. Utilize advanced reporting and analysis tools for e-commerce and brick-and-mortar performance optimization. Lead cross-functional teams for long-term success and profitability.

The position can be remote, catering to a flexible and adaptable work environment. Mass or mid-tier denim buying and planning experience is a must.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, specifically in Womens Denim.

Proficient in MS Office/G Suite, especially Excel, and familiar with retail math.

Strong skills in analytics, organization, and problem-solving.

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.

Experience with merchandise planning tools like NuOrder, Joor, and POS systems.
