Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing monthly policy communication and documentation workflow
- Determining appropriate content distribution channels and related communication strategies
- Overseeing production, approval, and distribution of materials
- Leading/coordinating large scale policy documentation projects and corresponding communication plans
- Developing policy update announcements for internal and external audiences
- Auditing & editing of policy document formatting prior to publication
- Posting of policy documentation to the applicable internal and external web portals
- Working collaboratively with policy authors to ensure content integrity and usability
- Functioning as a member of a self-directed team to meet specific individual and team performance requirements
- Managing and maintaining quality and productivity metrics

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years business writing experience
- 1+ year workflow management experience
- Proficient computer skills – MS Office
- Ability to respond quickly to new instructions, situations, methods, and procedures
- Must have a designated work space and access to install secure high speed internet via cable/DSL in home
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of UnitedHealthcare’s Medical Policy content, development process, website navigation, and communication/documentation procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous project management experience
- Technical writing experience
- Workflow management experience
- Extremely detail orientated with focus on quality/quality assurance
- Ability to manage competing demands on time

Connecticut Residents Only: The salary range for Connecticut residents is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
