What You'll Do:
As a Sr. Client Onboarding Manager in our Defined Benefit (DB) area, you’ll coordinate all aspects of multi-process onboarding for our larger more complex DB clients, while maintaining overall responsibility for onboarding and client communication.
Your day will be filled with:
- Working independently, act as a consultant and actively advise clients and prospects as they navigate through the acquisition/implementation phase of onboarding.
- Establishing and improve client/intermediary relationships through effective communication and delivery of expectations to ensure growth in retirement savings and profitability for all partners.
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of the client's data and set up to ensure ongoing success.
- Mentoring and coaching team members along with managing and/or participating in special projects.

Who You Are: - Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 7+ years Defined Benefit retirement experience (Defined Benefit onboarding experience preferred).
- Must possess excellent leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Requires strong analytical, innovative, and creative thinking, along with advanced problem solving skills.
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills, including verbal, written, phone, and presentation skills.
- Must have initiative and organizational skills to work efficiently and independently to meet aggressive deadlines on multiple projects.
- Must be detail-oriented with focus on accuracy.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of pension, including plan design, products, services, administrative systems, investments, laws and regulations.
Work Environments
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
