Sr. Campaign Planner, Government Legal
Role Summary
The Senior Marketing Campaign Planner supporting the Government team will be responsible for the planning and execution of marketing activities supporting the objectives developed in strategic marketing plans on a global/regional, segment or product basis. The Government business at Thomson Reuters is a dynamic and growing area of the Thomson Reuters portfolio with many exciting and high-profile initiatives. These initiatives support our Federal, State, and Local government agencies to help them move their missions forward every day. This includes practicing law, ensuring access to justice, ensuring community safety, and reducing fraud and waste of government funds.
Serve as a "connector" and trusted partner across TR Marketing and the Legal Professionals business, partnering closely with cross-functional teams such as brand, content and product marketing to translate marketing strategies into impactful, customer-centric omni-channel campaign plans
Understand Government prospect & customer personas and pain points to inform relevant, personalized campaigns
Develop B2B acquisition, cross-sell, and upsell marketing campaign plans to meet business objectives
Create initiative-specific marketing briefs and plan overviews to drive business impact for the Government Legal business.
Mobilize digital campaign plans with cross-functional teams through thoughtful planning, integration of relevant content and effective translation into demand generation programs and activities
About the Role
As the Senior Campaign Planner, you will:
  • Work collaboratively with central Campaign Planners to understand law firm campaigns and what's applicable for Government audience inclusion
  • Manage budget, planning, monitoring, and reconciling spend with focus on strong ROI
  • Review regular reports of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs, pulling self-serve reporting for basic performance metrics within our existing tools to make quick decisions to optimize, such as Salesforce, Tableau, Adobe Analytics and Anaplan.
  • Present and communicate campaign plans, learnings, optimizations, and ongoing experimentation to cross-functional stakeholders and sales teams
  • Continually monitor success of planning process and identify efficiencies, opportunities to optimize, leverage best practices, etc.

Key Deliverables:
  • Delivery of effective marketing funnel, from marketing qualified lead to closed sale based upon goals
  • Delivery of financial targets for the segment
  • Deliver sales growth through high lead generation rates
  • Ensure customer voice is driving marketing actions

About You:
You're a fit for the role of Senior Campaign Planner, Government Legal, if your background include:
  • 5+ years in marketing planning and campaign strategy
  • BA/BS preferred
  • Leader of omni-channel and digital marketing programming
  • Customer-centric, high-achieving self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere
  • Team player with the ability to foster strong relationships across multiple levels and functions within the organization
  • Entrepreneurial 'can do' approach with an adaptable, change-oriented mindset
  • Data driven mindset paired with a highly analytical approach
  • Experience in a matrixed and agile environment preferred
  • Experience leveraging customer insights to drive strategy
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
