- Engage sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages; execute with limited information and refine ambiguity
- Engage with business and operational stakeholders to elicit, document, and review business needs and expectations from problem definition, and goals and objectives through translation to detailed requirements, acceptance criteria
- Support range of delivery methodologies from Agile to Waterfall (client-driven)
- Interview resources across varying disciplines to elicit and rationalize business needs, drawing on the appropriate tools, skills and thought processes to obtain all needed information
- Structure approach, plan, and target deliverable to complete Current State Assessments of business and operational functions as well as facilitating Future State (To-be) Assessments of business and operational functions
- Translate ideas or concepts into S.M.A.R.T. goals, scope statements, high level requirements, detailed requirements, use cases, mock-ups, process models or other mechanisms to accurately capture and convey business needs
- Leading review and writing descriptions of business needs and business program functions, including creating process and data flow diagrams, workflow diagrams, test scripts, training curriculum, and quality assurance/audit procedures.
- Identifying opportunities for workflow optimization, efficiency and automation
- Development of one or more of the following deliverables (engagement specific) using Client, Clearlink, or industry processes and tools:

- Draft Request for Proposals (RFP) or Requests for Information (RFI).
- Aggregate and synthesize RFP or RFI responses and develop framework for assessing fitness of responses to client needs
- Develop task plans for completing certain deliverables and phases of the project lifecycle and work closely with the project manager to ensure timelines are well understood and traction is maintained throughout delivery execution
- Act as a subject matter expert as needed
- Facilitate reviews and approvals of key project documentation
- Participate and drive (as necessary) business level testing of solutions and validate testing results
- Manage requirements in automated systems or via manually maintained spreadsheets/documents and maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle and to specific deliverables
- Work closely with Systems Analysts (or role equivalent) to ensure any functional specifications properly account for business needs
- Participate in developing implementation plans and post-installation or release validation tests/scripts.
- May be responsible for executing post-installation or release validation tests or scripts
- Leverage technical skills, coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of the customer's needs to transform information into application and operational requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills

- A minimum of 5 years progressive experience with 3 years’ experience working on or leading business analysis for complex strategic projects
- Experience working in waterfall lifecycle environments, agile (and related), or DevOps environments is preferred. Certifications are a plus
- Diverse “generalist” backgrounds and skills a very strong plus.
- Previous experience working in a managed care organization
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
- Proven experience analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions,
- Previous experience in data visualization techniques and tools
- Proven ability to solve business problems and translate resolutions into consumable information
- Ability to balance top-down versus bottom-up analysis
- A history of supporting successful project
- Must be able to sit in a chair for extended periods of time
- Must be able to speak so that you are able to accurately express ideas by means of the spoken word
- Must be able to hear, understand, and/or distinguish speech and/or other sounds in person, via telephone/cellular phone, and/or electronic devices
