The Sr. Business Analyst within the Production Planning Team (PPT) will support the rapid growth of this initiative by leading network labor strategies in the Middle Mile (Sort Center) space, and partnering with internal stakeholders to drive the business. In this role, the candidate will be focused on highly analytical projects that also require communication and programmatic skills.
Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to create and improve labor strategies for the middle mile network
- Own Standard Work and Change Management for PPT
- Partner with peer lines of business to drive parity and long term strategy planning
- Identify the necessary metrics and creating reports to increase understanding of the business, proactively identifying pain points or opportunities through systemic measurement.
- Present qualitative and quantitative analysis to key stakeholders by blending advanced reporting and project management skills.
- Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access and other data management systems.
- Monitor existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
- Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience solving complex quantitative business challenges
- Experience operating strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Experience with data visualization and exploration tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
