This position will assist the BSA Manager and SVP/Regulatory Risk Manager with the Bank's BSA/AML and Regulatory Compliance program and Internal Auditor for Bank.
Requirements
- Please note that this exciting position is not a remote position and is located in San Antonio, Texas.
- Monitors customer accounts and research transactions to identify suspicious activity in association with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, and other Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
- Reviews Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Questionable Activity Reports (QAR)
- Submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR). Stays informed of changing fraud patterns or regulations in the field. Offers guidance to more junior analysts. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on banking experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Perform regulatory monitoring of transactions and information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Arrange and conduct periodic and/or annual training for company on a variety of topics as needed.
- Assist in developing and updating policies and procedures.
- Assist in coordinating audit committee functions.
- Assist with special projects as necessary.
