JOB OVERVIEW: DiD is growing! We're looking for a (Sr.) Associate, Traffic Management with 2-5 years of creative agency experience to join our team. In this role, you'll partner with Account, Creative, Project Management, and shared Department Leads to effectively resource plan the work, across print, digital, and video.  

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

  • Managing the resource schedule for assigned team, supporting effective FTE utilization targets, a balanced workload, and appropriate use of freelancers  
  • Working in partnership with the Account, Creative, and Project Management team leads, and department leads as necessary, to help plan and prioritize the work and resource plan  
  • Leading weekly resource schedule review meetings with senior team leads and department leads, to ensure alignment and approval of resource plan  
  • Ensuring all actions coming out of meetings are followed up, and that everyone is quickly informed of any changes that impact them, their projects, or priorities 
  • Managing change and updates due to project timeline changes, scope changes, ad hoc requests, etc. Informing team members of any project status updates or changes that may impact them, ensuring they are working on the correct projects and to the accurate deadlines at all times 
  • Understanding of project resource needs and requirements for all resource requests - asking questions to the right stakeholders when necessary to inform optimal talent to task assignments  
  • Ensuring that new projects are ready to be kicked off by confirming with Project Management that a client-approved scope, timeline, and brief is in place  
  • Developing an awareness of the skills and experience of the talent within assigned team, as well as that of frequently used freelance resources, to optimize talent to task assignments  
  • Work in collaboration with Resource Manager, senior team leads, and department leads to highlight team skills gaps and align to an action plan to address (i.e. expand current roster of "go to" freelance/3rd party suppliers) 
  • Support Resource Manager in developing and adhering to freelance spend budgets 
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE 

  • Creative agency experience (2-5 years) in a Resource Traffic Management role   
  • Exceptional organization, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal) 
  • Accessible and maintains fluid communication across the teams and stakeholders 
  • Ability to manage both up, down, and across departments 
  • Strong understanding of how a creative agency works, and the creative development process for print, digital, and video 
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and/or shifting priorities in parallel and remain calm under pressure   
  • Attention to detail and accountability for completing tasks and closing the loop on discussions and resourcing plans/decisions  
  • Proactive and forward thinking, identifying potential problems and working to mitigate or prevent them before they arise 
  • Builds and maintains collaborative working relationships; listens well to challenges and works with key stakeholders to overcome problems in a positive way 
  • Experience using Resource Management tools (i.e. Float, Resource Guru)
