Overview of Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Architect to join our team. As a Senior Android Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex next generation of our commerce platforms.
Responsibilities:

• Design and architect complex Android applications that meet business requirements and adhere to technical specifications
• Lead development teams in designing, coding, testing, and implementing new mobile applications
• Work closely with product and project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
• Continuously improve development processes and practices to ensure efficiency, quality, and maintainability
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture, design, and test plans
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in developing and architecting mobile applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in designing and developing complex Android applications that are scalable and maintainable
• Strong programming skills in Java and Kotlin
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and Android Studio
• Experience with web services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and third-party APIs
• Experience with agile development methodologies and best practices
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$168,400 - $262,900
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
