As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be reporting to the FP&A Director and be responsible for providing financial insights to the FP&A Director and Operational product leaders, providing data visualization and analysis, financial reporting, operational expense reviews, and short/long-term planning support. This role is in office T,W,TH weekly in our Owings Mills MD or Toronto ON offices.
A Day in the Life
- Responsible for key operational metrics including revenue, operating expense, and efficiency
- Monthly forecast, budgeting, and analysis for senior level leaders in various Ops teams
- Assist with development of the short/long-range financial modelling and growth planning
- Generate actionable commentary for inclusion in the Executive Management Operating Review
- Support the development of Power BI dashboards used by FP&A and Operations teams
- Provide complex financial planning, analysis and reporting to management on an ongoing basis
- Build confidence with Directors and VPs relating to financial results, forecasts, variances, etc.
- Provide inputs and support to the Global Finance team on aspects related to Ops organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
- 5 years financial experience
- Expert user of MS Office (Excel, Power Query), experience with OneStream/Alteryx beneficial
- Should have experience with SQL and building Power BI dashboards from ground up
- Prior experience with SAP, OneStream, and/or Alteryx beneficial, but not required
- Comfortable operating complex models and forecast scenarios within tight timelines
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior-level management, creating dynamic presentations, and ability to work cross-functionally
