Working at Honeywell isn't just about developing coolthings. That's why all of our employees enjoy access to dynamic careeropportunities across different fields and industries.
Are you ready to help us make the future?
Honeywell is launching the development of a new family ofgas turbine engines that will help shape the future of the aerospace industry. The new family will be lighter, quieter, and more powerful while running 100%Sustainable Aviation Fuel. Honeywell is hiring engineers to accomplish thischallenging new feat. We are looking to hire individuals who thrive on thinkingbig, have an appetite for growth, and a passion for winning.
As an integral member of MaterialEngineering's Life Methods team at Honeywell you will provide technicalexpertise in a project-based environment to influence new product developmentand drive improvements with existing Honeywell designs through the applicationof lifing methodologies in compliance with AC 33.70 and other industryregulations. The candidate willprimarily conduct Lifing and damage tolerance analyses for component designwhile working to develop command of usage based lifing practices at Honeywell. The candidate willapply expertise in use of advanced fracture mechanics to solve complex problemsusing tools such as FRANC3D etc. Thecandidate's proficiency in data analysis, mechanical test methodologies, andstatistical data analysis will aid the candidate in completing analyses of materialdata for acceptance against Honeywell design standards. The candidate will also contribute tomaterial characterization test plans for metallic and non-metallic materials (asrequired) for Honeywell Aerospace products. Regular mentorship and coaching of others through the interdisciplinarynature of the candidate's responsibilities is to be expected as is engagementwith industry experts to drive industry solutions for the aerospace industry.
