Job Title: Senior Accountant (Fully Remote)

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our remote team. This position offers the opportunity to work from home while contributing to our dynamic and growing organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, particularly with Microsoft Great Plains accounting software, and a background in healthcare accounting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage full cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and month-end close procedures.
Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
Provide support during audits and assist in resolving any accounting discrepancies.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in healthcare accounting.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains accounting software is required.
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial data management.
Strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
Location and Compensation: This is a fully remote position available to candidates residing in California, Nevada, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, or Michigan. The salary for this position is competitive, with a maximum of $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
