Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is an excellent senior-level position on the MultiCare finance team, responsible for technical research and accounting of complex accounting transactions. In this position, you will plan, analyze and present data to support the organization's financing functions.
Responsibilities
* You will prepare complex research and accounting analyses, reviewing for compliance and established accounting policies and procedures
* You will develop and prepare complex spreadsheets and presentations
* You will provide support and back-up to the investment and cash management functions
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Science or Arts in business administration with major or specialty in accounting or finance required
* CPA preferred
* Minimum five (5) years of recent, relevant accounting experience or three years of public accounting experience, preferably with healthcare industry experience
* Intermediate to advanced experience in creating and working with Excel spreadsheets
* Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Access preferred
* Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $81,245.00 - $116,938.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
