Description We're looking for a skilled, permanent Senior Accountant to join a budding company in the Healthcare/NHS industry in the Nampa, Idaho area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be required to perform financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant role is located in Nampa, Idaho.

What you get to do every day

- Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

- Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

- Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

- Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Participate in various department-wide initiatives

- Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

- Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

- Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

- Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management Requirements - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

- SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

- Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload

- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

- Current and relevant ERP system experience

- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

- Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

- Prior work done in public accounting is desired

- 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

- Solid understanding of finance
