Sql Developer Remote

Primary Responsibilities:
Sourcing Point of Contact: Work with vendors, customers, and others to link externally data sources to the Business Intelligence Enterprise Datawarehouse (SSBI EDW)
Data Mapping : Using standard governance, create datapoint linkages between externally sourced data and the SSBI EDW
Database Maintenance : Design, develop, test, optimize and maintain all database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures
Coding : Using standard SQL language, write code for ETL processes, data promotion across servers, create views, and to execute quality and validation checks, as well as other needs.
Job Monitoring : Monitors production runs to ensure expected performance, address break-fix issues, and implement needed changes to optimize performance. Troubleshoot, test, and debug core products to ensure optimization and stability
Data Validation : Create data quality and validation checks, generate and document exceptions, and implement corrective modifications
Data Archiving : Execute standardized archival processes to maintain optimal database operations
Position Requirements:
Field of Study: MIS, computer science, software, or other programming focused discipline
Years of Experience: 3-5 years
Describe Type Experience:
Hands-on experience in optimizing database performance; creating complex queries, functions, and stored procedures; establishing and monitoring ETL processes; troubleshooting and resolving productions issues; creating data maps and crosswalks; creating, executing, and resolving data quality validation processes; interacting and linking various data file formats (e.g. flatfile,.csv, Excel)
Experience designing simple to highly complex databases
Experience integrating data from various data sources and file types
Experience creating effective data models
Excellent command of MS SQL Server Management Studio
Excellent command of SQL Server data tools
Excellent command of SQL language
Experience successfully creating database objects - tables, views, stored procedures, functions, indexes, etc.
Experience applying correct CRUD usage
Excellent command of C#, Python, JavaScript, .NET or other programming languages
Experienced working with relational data and ability to write complex queries
Experience writing and fixing code that is clear, well commented, easily understood and maintained
Understand design principles behind scalable applications
Working knowledge of visualization applications (MS PowerBI)
Excellent professional written and verbal skills
