Job Description
Alderson Loop is looking for a SQL Developer to join a project with a large power & utilities company. This individual will be responsible for designing database tables, creating stored procedures and functions, implementing database triggers for automation, and maintaining data quality and ensuring data security.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior SQL Developer at Alderson Loop, your main responsibilities include:
- Creating, developing, and maintaining high-quality databases.
- Ensuring the performance and stability of SQL databases and addressing any security-related issues.
- Collaborating on the creation of database tables, structures, schemas, and dictionaries.
- Developing queries for seamless integration with other applications.
- Crafting triggers, scripts, functions, and procedures essential for application development.
- Conducting testing on databases and resolving bug-related issues to enhance database performance.
- Coordinating with Database Administrators (DBAs) to create and manage tables, indexes, database links, and privileges.
- Optimizing query performance and query time.
- Understanding and addressing issues related to network performance and security, conducting regular system backups.
- Managing and customizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation.
- Overseeing backup and restore processes, managing user permissions.
- Utilizing HTML and JavaScript for developing interactive UI user interfaces.
- Designing reports with drill-down and drill-through sub-reports.
- Familiarity with Jira for effective project management.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of SQL Development experience
- A strong command over SQL programming and databases, along with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience creating stored procedures
- Experience maintaining data quality and security
- A bachelor's degree or master’s degree in Computer science or a related field.
- Good communication skills.
