SQA Test Engineer – Winston-Salem, NC

The Select Group is hiring an SQA Test Engineerfor an opportunity with a top mortgage insurance client in Winston-Salem, NC. This role will require experience in QA testing with Selenium and programming experience in either C#/Java/Python. Our client is seeking to modernize an application rewritten in AWS. Location: Must sit on site in Winston-Salem, 4 days in office. 1 day remote.

Job Duration – 18 month contract

SQA Test Engineer – Project Details:

• Will be dedicated to an Agile Scrum team and working on a project to modernize application – Rewriting in Cloud Native AWS.
• Primarily testing – UI testing (websites that customers interact with), test xml data for customers to make sure it gets inserted into the database correctly.
• Write code in Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Testing of 6 websites.
• Additional testing of backend systems.

Environment: Selenium.

SQA TEST Engineer – Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with QA testing.
• 4-5 years of pure Selenium experience (ability to use Selenium without other programs such as Cucumber, Spec Flow, etc).
• Programming experience in either C#/Java/Python.
• Experience in maintaining/transforming/enhancing into automation so writing new test scripts is limited (maybe 1x per year).
• Experience with bug tracking (JIRA/Visual Studio DevOps/HP ALM, etc).
• SQL experience for writing queries (queries are already in automation and only require tweaking).

Nice to Have Experience In:

• Microsoft Visual Studio.
• C#.
• Microsoft DevOps.
