Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with codes and regulations
- Perform routine inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning components of fire sprinkler systems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans to determine layout and installation procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform installation and maintenance tasks
- Conduct system tests to verify proper functioning and make necessary adjustments
- Document all work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Proficiency in stick welding, soldering, pipe threading, tube bending, and other relevant skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
