Spring Training Grounds Crew
The City of Peoria seeks to hire a number of Groundskeeping positions for the 2024 Spring Training Season in the Parks and Recreation department. Candidates will assist in the preparation of baseball fields and turf maintenance at the Peoria Sports Complex (home to the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing a variety of entry-level tasks by cleaning, and maintaining athletic fields, grounds, facilities and park amenities using a variety of hand tools and equipment.
The hourly rate for this position is $15.97.

- Interested in learning more about parks and sports field groundskeeping.
- Interested in a flexible part-time schedule with an estimated 18-30 hours per week.
- Open to schedules that vary depending on assignment and could include nights and weekends.
- A safety conscious, punctual team player with a high work ethic.
- Comfortable and able to execute essential functions in high traffic, public use areas.
