Peraton is seeking a Spring & Summer 2024 Contracts Intern to support our contracts team in our Defense Missions & Health Solutions sector in Reston, VA.
As an Intern, you will join the program team to provide business and process support across all the functional areas - focusing primarily on the projects/efforts assigned to the Program Manager. You will have the opportunity to learn the basics of project/program management, financial analysis, communication plans, contract support and learning the day-to-day of how a business operates.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the contracts administration VP with prime and sub contracts, teaming agreements and RFPs.
- Assist with key deliverables.
- Provide review of critical documents.
- Review processes and provide insight for improvements.
- Assignments usually involve a wide variety of detailed activities which can include planning and conducting research.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A High School diploma and some advanced level training.
- A current undergrad enrolled at an accredited university in a 4-year degree program actively pursuing a BS/BA/BBA in Management, Business, Business Information Technology, Contracts or related field.
- Experience with MS Suite: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Visio.
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous work experience through side projects or previous internships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be detail-oriented and to prioritize work and meet quick turnaround deadlines.
