Salary Nesco Resource is currently sourcing Spray Booth Operators for an Automotive Finishing Facility in Detroit, MI for their Day Shift!
Shift Available: A Crew: Monday through Friday 6:45 am - 2:45 pm, with occasional OT on Saturdays
Pay: 16.56/hr
Job Duties:
- Prepares, primes, sands, seals, patches, cleans and paints truck beds and surfaces
- Use various painting materials such as primers, polyurethanes, lacquer thinner finishes.
- Tapes, sands, repairs, and applies texturing layers on a variety of surfaces
- Operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment including brushes, sprayers, robotic spray guns, pumps, etc
- Safely stores and labels all materials
- Keeps records and submits reports of work.
- Erects scaffolding, rigging and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes
- Can read, understand, and communicate work instructions clearly
- Ability to understand acceptable spray patterns, clogged mix chambers, and tips
- Understands tolerances of spray equipment and bed liner build tolerances.
- Perform manual application of spray in the event of robotic equipment failure or repairs
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience with TS and ISO standards
- Robotic programming experience is a plus!
- Ability to interpret blueprints and work orders
