POSITION – Spot Welding
JOB LOCATION – Port Washington WI
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire and Long-Term Temporary
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) –   1st Shift
STARTING PAY – $17+ per hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Prior experience in Manufacturing is preferred but not required
As a spot welder you will be required to put unfinished parts into a machine for welding, remove finish parts, and verify for quality. This position may offer the ability to sit or stand during a shift but it is not gaurenteed as it depends on the type of parts being produced.
 

 Responsibilities:

- Operate Spot Welding equipment to join metal components together

- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules

- Set up and adjust welding parameters according to specifications

- Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with welding equipment as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a spot welder or in a similar role preferred

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders

- Knowledge of different types of metals and their welding characteristics

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in work

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
