Empire installs netting systems for Major League, Minor League, college, high school and city ball parks all across the country.

Empire pays for employee hotels when traveling and also pays $40/day per diem on top of your salary.

Job Summary

Empire is looking for a Sports Netting Installer to join our team. This position requires a construction minded individual who is able to travel to sports venues across the country and install netting. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and detail oriented.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Follow job plans and blueprints

· Install large diameter poles

· Hang cables and nets from poles

· Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion

· Perform maintenance on equipment to keep in a satisfactory working condition

· Additional tasks as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

· High school or equivalent is preferred

· US work authorization is required

· Valid driver’s license is required, CDL is a plus

· Exhibit regular and prompt attendance

· Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

· Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting

· Willing to work M-F with weekends and overtime as needed

· Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools

· Ability to operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc.

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
