Sports Massage Therapist

Back Bay Health is a physical rehabilitation and wellness facility in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. We help active adults with back pain and injuries get back to doing what they love.

Back Bay Health is looking to hire an independent licensed Massage Therapist with a background in sports and/or orthopedic massage to work out of our Back Bay office. We're looking for someone to refer massage clients to from the other healthcare providers who share our space and who is interested in building a business for themselves. The position will be a 1099 independent contractor starting at a 50/50 commission based split + tips.

We had a Massage Therapist sharing our space for the last 5 years but she recently moved out of state and will be leaving our office at the end of March 2024. There will likely be a small existing base of clients to start with once the Massage Therapists vacates.

The team at Back Bay Health consists of two sports chiropractors, a dietitian as well as two independent pelvic floor physical therapists and a personal trainer.

We provide a fully outfitted room, linens, record keeping and payment software, shared kitchen/bathroom/waiting area, elevator access, trash removal. Just show up and do good work!

We have a prime location in the heart of Back Bay on Boylston St between Dartmouth and Exeter - one block from the Prudential Center, one block from Copley Place, and all the shops and restaurants of Newbury St.

New hire will be expected to get their own establishment license as they will be an independent contractor.
