If you have a knowledge and understanding of fundamentals of sports like Basketball & Soccer and passion and experience of teaching kids, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as a Sports Instructor-Basketball & Soccer at Jefferson Community Center. This is a seasonal part-time role from January- March 2024.

Associated Recreation Council in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation is hiring Sports Instructor. The Sports Instructor at Jefferson Community Centerwill lead a group of youth between the ages of 3-7 in Soccer and Basketball.

Schedule:  

For 2024 Winter Quarter: Mondays 4-6pm
Start Date: 8th January 2024

Sports Instructor duties and responsibilities include:

• Enhance participants' skills in soccer, basketball as they learn the fundamentals and play the games.

• Emphasize mental attitude, the importance of teamwork, how to play as a team, and the benefits of playing sports.

Sports Instructor requirements include:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• AA or degree in physical education is preferred

• At least one year of experience planning and supervising recreational programs and/or educational activities for children

Pay:

• $24.50-$26.50/hour
