Sports & Events Writer

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sports & Events Writer to join our team. As a Sports & Events Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative articles about various sports and events taking place at the newly renovated Hinchliffe Stadium. This is an exciting opportunity to be apart of history as a writer for America's most historic stadium! Responsibilities:
- Research and gather information on sports events, teams, players, and trends
- Write compelling articles about Sports & Events taking place at the stadium
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines
- Conduct fact-checking to verify the accuracy of information presented in articles
- Collaborate with other writers, editors, and photographers to develop high-quality content
- Stay updated with current sports news and trends to provide timely and relevant content
- Conduct interviews with athletes, coaches, and other sports professionals
- Utilize photography skills to capture images for articles (if applicable)
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow

Skills:
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging and informative content
- Knowledge of journalistic principles and practices
- Bilingual proficiency (desired but not required)
- Excellent research skills to gather accurate information
- Attention to detail for fact-checking and proofreading

This is an entry level position and you will be paid per article, but further compensation will be an option based on growth and experience.
