We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sports Club Desk Representative and are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tours of the spa & Sports Club facilities for hotel and outside guests
  • Receive incoming telephone calls promptly and politely, practicing proper phone etiquette
  • Take messages for staff and clients, ensuring delivery in a timely manner
  • Be fully familiar with and knowledgeable about all sports services
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of general spa and resort programs and services
  • Assist guests and members with the purchase of memberships, day fees, rentals, class fees
  • Maintain all bodies of water in the Sports Club and spa
  • Pool safety and protocol
  • Warmly greet and assist guests with check-in, billing, and check-out process
  • Escort clients to appropriate locations or services
  • Assist guests with special requests and provide hospitality services as directed by management
  • Maintain control of point-of-sale area and follow established guidelines for payment
  • Protect the privacy of all guests and handle with discretion any information they may provide to the spa/Sports Club
  • Maintain a presence of calm composure, even in the most stressful situations
  • Be ready to assist any team member or guest who needs help in a friendly manner
  • Alert Sports Club Supervisor, Spa Desk Manager or Spa Director to potential problems or concerns
  • Provide personal attention to guests.
  • Prepare sanctuary equipment and supplies daily.
  • Replenish guest amenities, clothing and towels as necessary.
  • Perform daily general cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in the facility.
  • Stay current on all department information and become well-versed and trained in its application
  • Ensure a pleasant visit for each guest and maintain effective guest relations.
  • Oversee and maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the all the Sports Club facilities including but not limited to the pools, hot tub, locker rooms, fitness facilities and common areas.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
  • Knowledge and background in Spa or Health related areas a plus
  • Warm, enthusiastic, and hospitable personal manner
  • Good organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Previous experience in working with the public both in person and by telephone
  • Confidence and experience in dealing with customer relations and complaints
  • A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
  • A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
  • Report for scheduled shifts promptly and be prepared for work.
